is under way in the OPF to remove both Orbiter Maneuvering System
(OMS) pods on Shuttle Atlantis to inspect the integrity of the fittings
on attach point No. 5, and make repairs if necessary. The OMS cross-feed
line will be drained this weekend and the left pod will be removed
next week. The payload doors have been opened and AC power continuity
checks are in progress. |
