Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Shuttle Columbia is undergoing final prelaunch checkouts in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF). Verification testing of Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) No. 3 is complete. Aft closeouts are in progress. Shuttle managers will reassess the launch date for STS-109 later this week, pending Hubble Space Telescope payload status.

Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Work continues on Shuttle Atlantis in the OPF to remove two Orbiter Maneuvering System (OMS) pods to inspect the status of attach point No.5 and make repairs, if necessary. Over the weekend, hypergolic de-servicing of the OMS cross feed line was completed. Aft flight deck reconfiguration is in work.

Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Post-landing checkout of the Forward Reaction Control System (FRCS) and OMS pods aboard Shuttle Endeavour are in progress in the OPF. The Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM) was removed from the payload bay Monday and transported to the Space Station Processing Facility.

Orbiter Discovery is in temporary storage in a high bay of the Vehicle Assembly Building awaiting a decision by Shuttle managers on the content, schedule and location for the structural inspection and modification down period. Discovery is scheduled to return to the OPF in mid-January.
