Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Shuttle Endeavour lifted off yesterday at 5:23 p.m. EDT on the STS-111 mission to the International Space Station. The seven-member crew is preparing to dock to the Station Friday, June 7, at 12:18 p.m. EDT. Initial data indicates the Solid Rocket Boosters performed nominally and will return by retrieval ships Liberty Star and Freedom Star to Hangar AF at Cape Canaveral tomorrow. 

At the pad, early inspections show that the pad sustained no unusual damage from yesterday's launch. Clean up work will begin today in preparation for the next mission scheduled at Pad A, STS-112 in August.

Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Processing continues in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) for Columbia's STS-107 microgravity research mission. With the SPACEHAB/FREESTAR payload installed into Columbia's bay, the SPACEHAB Integration Verification Test is planned for today. Heat shield installation and SPACEHAB leak checks are in work.
