Shuttle Processing Note (previous notes) |

| NASA managers today chose Monday, June 3, as the next opportunity to launch Space Shuttle Endeavour on Mission STS-111/UF2 to the International Space Station. After reviewing weather forecasts for the weekend, mission managers determined that there was too high of a threat for severe thunderstorms in the KSC vicinity to make launch attempts for either Saturday or Sunday. Early weather forecasting shows a 70 percent chance of weather violation at the preferred launch time Monday. The shuttle crew and Expedition Five crew will remain at the Kennedy Space Center reviewing mission plans, conducting proficiency training in the Shuttle Training Aircraft, relaxing and visiting with family members. A launch advisory will be issued Sunday afternoon providing the planned launch time for Monday.
